Thursday 4th December 2025 (5-7pm) - The Elms Academy Sixth Form Open Evening
January 2026 - Sixth Form Conditional offers are issued
Students who have applied to the Sixth Form will recieve an update on their application and issued a conditional offer to study with us.
Thursday 12th March 2026 - Sixth Form External Applicants Evening 5 - 6pm
This is a chance to hear a short presentation from the Head of Sixth Form and to hear from current students in year 12 about their experience of joining the Sixth Form. This tries to cover the different things that students will be worrying about before moving to a new school directly from those who have already done it, because we know it can feel intimidating.
Tuesday 14th July 2026 ‐ Sixth Form Keeping in Touch Breakfast
This is a chance for external applicants to reconnect with The Elms Academy team here on site or visit us for the first time. Meet new friends over free breakfast, participate in some workshops and experience a small taste of the enrichment we offer. Full details will be shared with applicants via email.
Thursday 20th August and Friday 21st August 2026 – Sixth Form Enrolment days
Final places for the Sixth Form and subject choices will be confirmed at our enrolment days. Please note we have received a record number of applicants this year, so we strongly recommend arriving as early as possible to secure a place and preferred subject choices. Applicants will need a copy of their GCSE results and latest school report as well as proof of identification and home address to enrol. Doors will open for external applicants at:
Thursday 3rd September 2026. First Day of the New Academic Year (for Year 12 and 10)
Following confirmation of your place and subject choices at our enrolment days, this will be your first day at your new Sixth Form. This day will involve a welcome assembly and induction.
