The Elms Academy Tops Local Table For GCSE Progress
The Elms Academy has cemented its excellent achievements at GCSE and A Level this summer with new progress scores, which put them at the top of the table for Lambeth.
The scores come as part of the Department for Education’s GCSE league tables released this term. This national data now shows schools’ provisional results on the government’s Progress 8 measure, which calculates the average progress students make by GCSE, compared with other similar schools. A progress score that meets the national average is set at 0 each year, with anything higher reflecting value added to a student’s achievements during their time at school.
